Meet Rabbi Joseph
Rabbi Joseph is an Argentine mohel with over 19 years of experience perform
ing baby circumcisions. He trained in the traditional methods of the mohel — a specialist whose entire practice is dedicated to this single procedure — and has spent nearly two decades refining his technique to be as gentle, precise, and nearly painless as possible.
But what sets Rabbi Joseph apart is not just his experience. It’s the reason he kept going.
A Simple Observation That Changed Everything
A few years ago, Rabbi Joseph noticed something in the Miami community he served: there were families — many of them not Jewish — who were looking for something different.
They didn’t want a hospital circumcision. They didn’t want their baby taken to another room while they waited outside. They didn’t want a rushed, impersonal procedure performed by whoever happened to be on call.
They wanted to be present. They wanted to hold their baby. They wanted the moment to feel meaningful — even without a religious framework to attach it to.
And they had nowhere to go.
So He Started Going to Their Homes
Rabbi Joseph began offering at-home visits for families across South Florida — driving to their homes, setting up with sterile medical equipment, and performing the procedure in the warmth and privacy of the family’s own space.
Parents held their baby the entire time. The procedure took 60 seconds. And at the end of every appointment, Rabbi Joseph offered a blessing — aquiet, warm moment that families of every faith background describe as one of the most unexpectedly moving parts of the experience.
Word spread. Families referred other families. And what began as a response to a need in his community grew into something larger.
Growing to Serve More Families
A year ago, we opened our office in Aventura — because as the practice grew, Rabbi Joseph couldn’t always travel to every corner of South Florida.
The office gave families who lived further away a place to come. Same procedure. Same gentleness. Same blessing at the end. Just a different setting.
